Alamo – Alfonso Garza , 79, passed away Thursday, February  6, 2020 at Amara Hospice  in Edinburg, Texas. Mr. Garza was born May 10,1940 in Cadereyta NL, MX.  to Martin Garza and Sara Martinez.

 Mr. Garza  is survived by his loving children, Rodrigo Garza (Maria De Jesus), Ambrosio Garza (Maricela Hernandez), Margarita Garza (Juan Esparza), Alfonzo Garza Jr. (Guadalupe Esparza), Everardo Garza (Luz Amalia Garza), Salvador Garza , Samuel Lima (Maria Lima), Martin Garza, and 18 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren,  

Viewing for Mr. Garza will be held on Monday, February 10, 2020 from 12 pm to 5 pm with a prayer service at 3 pm at Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas.  Mr. Garza will be cremated at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
