Alicia Mirelez

Elsa–Alicia Mirelez, 86, went to be with the Lord Friday November 18, 2022 at Retama Manor in Edinburg, Texas.  Mrs. Mirelez was born on August 17, 1936 in Elsa, Texas to Mauricio Ortiz and Margarita Gonzalez.

Mrs. Mirelez is survived by hers Loving Nieces; Belen Rodriguez, Anita Rodriguez, Janie Garcia, Rosario Hernandez, Hilda Deleon, Sara Chavez, Silvia Silva, Flor Estela Garate, Dalia Salinas, Connie Gonzalez . Also, her nephews; David Rodriguez, Albert Rodriguez, Alejo Rodriguez, Jaime Rodriguez, Mauro Silva, and Juan Ramon Cantu. Mrs. Mirelez is also survived by may nieces and nephews from Washington State.

Family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Eternal Light Funeral Home, 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church located at 110 FM-88 in Elsa, Texas. Interment will follow to Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Weslaco, Texas.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas.
