Ana Delia Mata

Weslaco– Ana Delia Mata, 59, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, Texas.  Ms. Mata was born on August 26, 1962 in Weslaco, Texas to Adolfo Mata and Monica Perez. She is preceded in death by her father Adolfo Mata as well as her brother Juan Mata.

Ms. Mata is survived by her loving mother; Monica Mata, her son Daniel Adolfo Mata, her sisters; Mary Cantu (Orlando), Alicia Garza (Javier), Emilia DeLeon (Merardo) and Luisa Riemersma (Jeff), as well as her brothers; Arnoldo Mata (Anne Marie) and Lino Mata (+ Letty). 

Family will receive family and friends on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 6:30 pm at Eternal Light Funeral Home, 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas. Ana will be cremated at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas.
