Elsa, Tx. – IT is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Mrs. Angelica Rodriguez, age 66, passed away on March 30th, 2026. Mrs. Angelica Rodriguez was born on April 10, 1959 to Justo and Ester Rodriguez in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
Mrs. Angelica Rodriguez was a devoted wife to her husband Carlos, with whom they raised 3 children. Angelica was a loving mother to her children, even while working hard at a meat processing plant, to help support her family.
When Angelica wasn’t working hard, her passion was dancing. Angelica loved dressing up to go dancing and listening to the oldies. Mrs. Rodriguez enjoyed taking drives to the beach, eating tamales, and she shared her love of life with everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
Mrs. Angelica Rodríguez is survived by husband; Carlos Rojo, her children; Brenda Yadira Urbina, Juan Carlos Cabrera, Jacob Rojo (Graciela), nieces and nephews; Froilan Cepeda, Bentley Ryder Morgan, Keyleigh McKenzie Morgan, Jaelynn Marie Cabrera, Isabella Alice Cabrera, Jacob Iza Rojo, and Siblings; Susana Rodríguez, Leticia Rodríguez, Martha Rodríguez, Rafael Rodríguez, and Alejandro Rodríguez. Mrs. Angelica Rodríguez is preceded in death by her parents: Justo and Ester Rodríguez.
Her legacy of love, strength, and laughter will remain forever in our hearts.
The Family of Mrs. Angelica Rodriguez invites friends and family to attend her visitation on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home located in Elsa, Texas. Mrs. Angelica Rodriguez will have visitation on Thursday, April 2, 2026 starting at 9 a.m. with her chapel service to start at 2:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas. Mrs. Angelica will have burial service at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
