Asencion Cavazos

Mercedes, Tx. – Mrs. Asencion Cavazos went to be with Lord on Monday December 18, 2023 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas.  Mrs. Cavazos born on August 11, 1958 to Celso Cavazos and Maria Dolores Benavides in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Mrs. Cavazos is survived by her ex-husband Jose E. Garcia, her children Perla Garcia, Luis Garcia, Enrique Garcia, and 5 Grandchildren. Mrs. Cavazos is also survived by her siblings Jose Cruz Cavazos, Miguel Angel Cavazos, Maria de Jesus Cavazos, Martin Cavazos, and Celso Cavazos. Mrs. Asencion Cavazos is preceded in death by her parents Celso and Maria Cavazos and a brother Enrique Cavazos. The Cavazos family would like to invite all her family and friends to attend her visitation on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas with a Rosary At 3:00 p.m. and a Prayer Service at 5:00 p.m. Mrs. Cavazos will be cremated at a later date.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
