Elsa – It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mrs. Aurora Molina, age 90, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted mother, a hardworking woman, and a pillar of strength to those who knew her.
Born on November 26, 1934 in San Benito, Texas, to Florentino Bernal and Ramona Medina, Aurora dedicated her life to raising her two boys and daughter while continuing her education. Aurora later became a clerk for the Texas Department of Health and Human resources where she worked for 20+ years. As a strict but loving mother, she ensured they were prepared for the challenges of life, always emphasizing the importance of perseverance and responsibility.
She was a woman of resilience and was dedicated to her church, Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Elsa. Aurora was appointed treasurer and a very devout member to her congregation. She worked tirelessly to provide for her family and help those who were in need. Whether at work or at home, her dedication never wavered, and she faced every challenge with unwavering determination. Though she was firm, her love for her children was boundless, and she took immense pride in their achievements.
Mrs. Aurora Molina is survived by her two sons, Noe Molina (Silvenia) Daniel Molina, 11 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren, numerous great great grandchildren, sisters; Angelita Martinez and Estela Bernal. Mrs. Molina is preceded in death by her parents; Florentino and Ramona Bernal, a daughter Nora Gloria Huape. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, and perseverance that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
Mrs. Molina will have visitation on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas. Mrs. Molina will have visitation on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a Chapel service at 12:00 p.m. Mrs. Aurora Molina will be interred to at Anahuac Community Cemetery following her Chapel Service.
She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.
