Belen Duque

La Villa – Belen L. Duque, 89, went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 3, 2021 at her residence in La Villa, Texas.  Mrs. Duque was born on January 22, 1932 in San Luis Potesi, Mexico to Emiliano Lopez and Felipa Castillo. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Emilio Duque, children; Jesus Duque, Lourdes Duque, and Gloria Duque.

Mrs. Duque is survived by her loving children; Crescencio (Noela) Duque, Emilio (Criselda) Duque, Rene (Belinda) Duque, Alicia Duque (Roman) Rodriguez, Irene Duque, siblings; Juan Castillo, Lupita Lopez, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Eternal Light Funeral Home 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas.  Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 10:00am at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch, Texas. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas.
