Bertha Alicia Sanchez

Monte Alto, Texas– Bertha Alicia Sanchez, 57, went to be with the Lord Monday, October 4, 2021 at her residence.  Ms. Sanchez was born on August 20, 1964 in Weslaco, Texas to Nicolas Sanchez and Bertha Melendez.

Ms. Sanchez is survived by her loving mother; Berta Sanchez, her sons Anthony Javier Cantu and Abram Xavier Cantu (Amber Ibarra), her sisters; Julieta Sanchez and Deenora Valdez, as well as her brothers; Marco Sanchez and Greg Sanchez.

Family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Service at 7:00 pm at Eternal Light Funeral Home, 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas. Ms. Sanchez will be cremated at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas.
