Candida Aguirre

Edcouch, Tx. – Mrs. Candida Aguirre went to be with Lord on Thursday February 1, 2024 surrounded by her family in Edcouch, Texas.  Mrs. Aguirre was born on June 6, 1926 to Antonio Aguirre and Maria Esquivel in Rio Ramones, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

Mrs. Aguirre is survived by her loving Daughters Margarita Ocanas, Maria Luisa Gallegos, Rosalinda Cuellar, 26 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Mrs. Aguirre is preceded in death by her husband Ramiro Ocanas. Mrs. Candida Aguirre’s family would like to invite all her family and friends to attend her visitation on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas with a Rosary At 7:00 p.m. Visitation on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Santa Teresa Catholic Church in Edcouch, Texas. Funeral service will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
