Carlos Cano Jr. Obituary

Weslaco – Carlos Cano Jr., 82, passed away peacefully Saturday, April18, 2020 at the residence of his son in El Paso, Texas. Mr.  Cano was born in Edcouch, Texas May 28, 1937 to Carlos and Juana Cano. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Jose Guadalupe Cano, 1st Gumecindo Cano, and Jesus Oscar Cano.  

Mr. Cano is survived by his loving wife of 50 yrs., Martha Cano, children, Marivette (Juan) Torres, Blanca Delia ( Charlie) Fair, Carlos (Andrea) Cano III, Cynthia (Andrew Taylor) Cano, Felix ( Jennifer) Cano, 19 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, siblings, Jose Angel Cano, Maria Del Carmen Cavazos, Margarita Sanchez, Raymundo Cano, Ernestina Cano Pivk, Gumecindo Cano, and Janie Cano Campos.

 

Visitation for Mr. Cano will be held Friday, April 24, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas.  Chapel service will be Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas. Interment will follow to Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
