Monte Alto, Tx. – Mr. Carlos L. Gonzalez went to be with Lord on Friday February 9, 2024 at his residence in Monte Alto, Texas.  Mr. Gonzalez was born on August 20, 1945 to Amando Gonzalez and Maria Jesus Lozano in Arcabuz, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Mr. Carlos Gonzalez is survived by his loving wife Damiana Gonzalez, his sons Ricardo Gonzalez (Norma), Jose Mario Gonzalez (Merelda), Luis Alfredo Gonzalez (Danira), Carlos Gonzalez (Jennifer), 11 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren  Mr. Gonzalez is also survived by his brother Mario Gonzalez and sister Martha Alejandro. Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his parents Amando and Maria Jesus Gonzalez, brothers Hector Gonzalez, Guadalupe Gonzalez and great-grandchild Luke Gonzalez.  Mr. Carlos Gonzalez’s family would like to invite all his family and friends to attend his visitation on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Grace Church 23981 Skinner Road in Edinburg, Texas with a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue Tuesday, February 13, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Grace Church.  Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
