Carlos Ortiz

Edinburg–Carlos Ortiz, 71, went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital in Baytown, Texas.  Mr. Ortiz was born October 7, 1949 in Edinburg, Texas to Jose Angel Ortiz and Inocencia Serna. He is preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Ortiz is survived by his loving wife Norma Ortiz, children, Veronica (Robert) Trevino, Carlos (Jessica) Ortiz Jr., Esmeralda (Joe) Cantu, Jose Angel (Vanessa) Ortiz, Alexander Ortiz, 19 grandchildren, and siblings Marcos Ortiz, Jose Ortiz, Jaime Ortiz, Lala Balderas, Minerva Olivarez.

Viewing for Mr. Ortiz will be Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  at Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa. Graveside will be Monday January 11, 2021 at 10:00 a. m in Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
