Dionicio Chapa

Donna, Tx. – Mr. Dionicio Chapa went to be with Lord Wednesday August 30, 2023 at his residence in Donna, Texas.  Mr. Dionicio Chapa was born on October 09, 1944 in China, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Geronimo Chapa and Petra Anaya.  

Mr. Chapa is survived by his loving Wife, Lidia Garcia, his children, Petra Chapa, Maria Idalia Chapa, Sandra Idolina Chapa, Lidia Meliza Chapa, Dionicio Chapa Jr. David Chapa, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Mr. Dionicio Chapa surviving siblings Maria Alvarez, Alicia Soto, and Samuel Garcia.  Mr. Chapa is proceeded in death by his parents Geronimo and Petra Chapa.

The Chapa Family invites friends and family to attend Mr. Dionicio’s visitation on Monday, September 4, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas.  Tuesday, September 5, 2023 Chapel Service will be at 10:00 a.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas. Mr. Chapa interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Cemetery, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
