Dominga (Gorostiza) Martinez

Edcouch, Tx. – Mrs. Dominga Martinez went to be with Lord Sunday December 10, 2023 at her residence in Edcouch, Texas.  Mrs. Martinez born on March 20, 1928 to Guadalupe Gorostiza and Herminia Sanchez in Edcouch where she spent her life.

Mrs. Martinez is survived by her loving children Maria Elva Martinez, Angelita Garza (Liborio), Noemi Saldana (Mario), Yolanda Solis(+Efrain), Ricardo Martinez (Maria), Ninfa Garcia(+Isaias), Irene Martinez (Enrique) Rosalinda Martinez, Florestella Martinez (Victoriano), 36 Grandchildren, 84 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. Dominga Martinez is preceded in death by her parents Guadalupe and Herminia Gorostiza, her husband Vicente Martinez, Sons; Vicente Martinez Jr., Carlos Martinez, and a granddaughter Emily Martinez. The Martinez family would like to invite all her family and friends to attend her visitation on Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas with a Rosary At 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Martinez will have her funeral mass at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Edcouch on Friday December 15 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
