Monte Alto, Tx. – It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Eddie Martinez, 33 who passed away on February 27, 2026 in Big Springs, Texas. Eddie Martinez was born on August 24, 1992 to Jose and Flora in Edinburg, Texas.

Mr. Eddie Martinez was a hard-working son. He worked hard in the oil refinery to help support himself and family. Eddie was quiet, soft spoken but a hard worker and loving son. Eddie was loved and will be missed by all who had the privilege of meeting him.

Mr. Eddie Martínez is survived by his loving parents; Jose and Flora Martinez, his siblings; David Martinez, Emanuel Martinez, Leonardo Martinez, Esteban Martinez, and Kayla Martinez.

The Family of Mr. Eddie Martinez invites friends and family to attend his visitation on Monday, March 2, 2026 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas. Mr. Eddie Martinez will have a Chaple Service on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas with burial to follow at Anahuac Community Cemetery, Edcouch, Texas.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
