Elsa, Texas – Edelmiro T. Marroquin went to be with the Lord on Saturday October 01, 2022 at Edinburg Medical Center in Edinburg, Texas at the age of 82. Mr. Marroquin was born on February 23, 1940 in Elsa, Texas to Manuel Marroquin and Paulita Trevino.Mr. Marroquin is survived by his loving wife, Adelita Marroquin and their children; Eddie Marroquin (Maribel), Veronica Webber (Ray), Ana Garcia, Araceli DeLeon (Hector), Mario Marroquin (Miranda). Mr. Marroquin also leaves his 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, along with his siblings; Casimiro Marroquin, Pedro Marroquin, and Manuel Marroquin Jr. Mr. Marroquin is preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother, Andres Marroquin.The family would like to invite Mr. Marroquin’s friends and family to a wake in his honor on Wednesday, October 05, 2022 at Eternal Light Funeral Home located in Elsa, Texas from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. rosary service. On Thursday October 06, 2022 there will be a funeral mass at 1:00 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Burial will follow to Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas.
