Monte Alto Tx. – It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Eden Ivan Torres Hernández, 40, who passed away on February 3, 2025.

Born on October 6, 1984 to Margarito and Herminia Torres, Eden Ivan was the life of the party. His smile would light up the room and his laughter contagious. He loved to cook delicious and exciting meals for his family, which he did whenever he could. Eden loved being an uncle to his nieces and nephews most of all. They were his pride and joy.

Eden Ivan will be remembered for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and devotion to his family. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, laughter and hard work will live on in those who knew him.

He is survived by his Parents, Margarito and Herminia Torres, sisters: Rocio Carolina Torres, Sarai De Jesus Torres, nieces; Mia Marisol Gonzalez, Margarita de Jesus Gonzalez, Anahi Martinez, Carolina Martinez, nephews; Rolando R. Martinez and Alexis Martinez

The Family of Mr. Eden Ivan Torres Hernández invites friends and family to celebrate his life with visitation on Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home located in Elsa, Texas. Visitation will continue on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home. Mr. Torres will have a chapel service at 12:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home with interment to follow at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
