Eloisa Becerra, beloved sister and aunt, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on September 15.
Left to cherish her memory are her brothers Manuel and Luis and her sisters Alicia, Felicitas, and Delia. She was preceded in death by her parents Roque and Teresita Becerra and her brothers and sisters Angelita, Guadalupe, Salvador, Israel, Elva, Ernestina, Ismael, Manuela, and Lionel.
Eloisa was born in Hargill, where she lived most of her life with her sister Mela. Her brother-in-law Gene Satterlee joined their family later in life. Eloisa spent the remaining years of her life in Elsa, with her sister Delia and her brother-in-law Armando Salinas. Eloisa loved her little house in Hargill. She enjoyed the company of her brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, many just a short walk away. Countless evenings were spent sharing stories under the starry Hargill sky. Her second home was in Elsa, where she helped raise her niece Cristina and nephews Orlando and Carlos.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Maria Elena Cenizeros who served as Eloisa’s caregiver with caring and compassion.
Eloisa, or Tia Locha, as she was called by the numerous nieces and nephews that loved her, was faithful, kind, gentle and the best of us.
