EDINBURG – Emilia Ann Medina Cortez, 55, went to be with Lord Saturday, August 11, 2020 at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, Texas. Emilia Ann Medina Cortez was born on March 11, 1965 in Jim Wells County to Gilberto Medina and Catarina Sierra.

Ms. Emilia Ann Medina Ruiz is survived by her children, Lorraine Morrisi, Felisha M. Myers and Dianida Denise Medina, granddaughter, Athysia A. Martinez, grandsons, Demetri D. Marin and Elijah A. Myers, siblings, Imelda Ozuna, Vivian Sierra and Monroe Perez.  

Family will receive family and friends on Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 11:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas.  Ms. Emilia Ann Medina Ruiz Interment will be at a later date.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
