Donna – Esmeralda Barrientos, 43, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 05, 2022 in Weslaco, Texas. Esmeralda was born on September 17, 1978 in Matamoros, Mexico to Jose Barrientos and Librada Bocanegra.

Esmeralda is survived by her loving parents- Jose and Librada Barriento. As well as her loving husband, Rafael Escobedo and their children, Zuheiry A. Escobedo, and Ignacio R. Escobedo. She is also survived by her sister, Olivia Barrientos

Family will receive family and friends on Friday, January 07, 2022 starting at 1:00 p.m. and ending at 8:00 p.m. There will be a rosary at 7:00 p.m. On Saturday, January 08, 2022. A chapel service will be held here at Eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas at 8:00 a.m. Interment will follow to Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, Texas.
