Fernando Becerra

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son and brother, Fernando Becerra, who left this world tragically at the age of 30 on August 10, 2025, in Baton Rouge, LA. Fernando was born on October 4, 1994 in Weslaco, Texas, where he graced our lives with his warmth, laughter, and unwavering spirit.

Fernando was a devoted father whose greatest joy in life was his children. His love for his family was evident in everything he did, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Known for his warm smile, sharp style, and the way he always carried himself with pride, Fernando will be remembered as someone who loved looking his best and living life with confidence.

A true car enthusiast, he especially had a passion for Cadillacs.  Whether talking about cars, spending time with loved ones, or sharing laughter with friends, Fernando left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He was proud of his Mexican-American heritage and embraced his identity with passion and love.

Fernando is survived by his loving children; Layden Becerra, Aaron Aguilera, Catalina Becerra, James Adonai Perez, Fernando Becerra III, his mother; Maria Del Carmen Hernandez, his father Fernando Becerra Jr., his cherished sister, Breanna Hernandez, his brothers Fabian Becerra, Mario Becerra and extended family members who will forever remember his kindness and sincerity. Fernando's smile could light up the darkest of days, and his memory will undoubtedly continue to shine in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
 

The Becerra family invites everyone to Fernando Becerra’s Celebration of life which will be held on August 23, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas. Mr. Becerra will be cremated at a later date.
