Monte Alto, Texas – Francisco Tijerina 86, went to be with Lord Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at his residence in Monte Alto, Texas. Mr. Tijerina was born on May 11, 1935 in Elsa, Texas to Lauro Tijerina and Dominga Cano.
Mr. Tijerina is survived by his loving wife, Amada Tijerina and his daughter, Aurelia Tijerina Cardenas. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Aurelia Tijerina, as well as his brothers- Guadalupe Tijerina, Desiderio (Lelo) Tijerina,Celestino (Tino) Tijerina and Jesus Tijerina. The family would like to invite Francisco Tijerina’s family and friends to join them for a viewing on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas. On Saturday, February 26, 2022 we will be hosting a Funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa, Texas. Internment will follow to Anahuac Cemetery in Elsa, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
