Elsa, Tx. –It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Griselda Pineda, a beloved sister, friend, and pillar of her community. She left us on January 1, 2025, leaving a legacy of kindness, dedication, and love that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Griselda was born on February 8, 1973 in Edcouch, Texas where her love for animals and the outdoors began to flourish. Her passion for horseback riding brought her joy and peace, and she was happiest when surrounded by her four-legged companions, who held a special place in her heart.
To Our Family Gracie was a second mother that knew how to love hard and strong without any reservations and her home was always open to everyone.
A dedicated and compassionate dental assistant, Gracie served her community for many years, ensuring each patient felt cared for and at ease. Beyond her professional life, she devoted herself to shaping young lives as a Girl Scout troop leader. She encouraged her scouts to embrace adventure, learn new skills, and always strive to make the world a better place.
Her generosity and warm spirit extended to her family, friends, and countless animals who found love and care under her roof. Whether horseback riding, organizing a camping trip, or getting together with her loved ones, Gracie approached life with an infectious enthusiasm.
The memories that Mrs. Gracie Pineda created and the love she shared will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her and be part of her life’s journey. Mrs. Pineda will be missed but never forgotten.
Gracie is survived by her ex-husband Saul Pineda, her siblings: Enedelia Cruz (Santos), Rogelio Rodriguez (Priscilla), Miguel Rodriguez (Teresa), Gisela Rodriguez, her nieces: Elizabeth Cruz, Daizee Reyna, Karen Beltran, Lisa Rodriguez, and nephew Javier Hernandez.
