Guadalupe Segura

Edcouch, Tx – – It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Guadalupe Segura Jr., who passed on December 27, 2025 at Memorial Hospital, in San Antonio, Texas.  

Mr. Guadalupe Segura Jr. was a very kind, hardworking, and patient man whose presence was quiet but deeply strong. He was a man of few words, yet his love was always felt by those around him. Family meant everything to him, and he made it clear through his actions that his wife and daughter always came first.

Though he was often silent, he also had a playful side. He was a jokester who enjoyed sharing little funny moments with his family—small jokes, subtle humor, and lighthearted moments that brought smiles and laughter to those closest to him. Those memories will forever be cherished.

He was a devoted husband and a loving father who took pride in protecting, and caring for his family. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Nelda Ann Segura, and his daughter, Saarah Ann Segura, his siblings; Ida De La Cruz, Hilda Gonzalez, Nelda Sauceda, Eloy Segura, and Simon Segura, nieces, and nephews, all of whom loved him deeply. Mr. Guadalupe Segura Jr.  is preceded in death by his parents; Guadalupe and Socorro Segura.

He leaves behind a legacy of patience, strength, loyalty, and unconditional love for his family. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
 

The Family of Mr. Guadalupe Segura Jr.  would like to invite all his family and friends to his visitation on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 from 2:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Guadalupe Segura Jr. will continue visitation on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home. Funeral Mass is still pending.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
