Edcouch- Guadalupe M. Tamez, 79, went to be with the Lord Friday, October 9, 2020 at her residence in Edcouch, Texas. Mrs. Tamez was born May 18, 1941 in Edcouch, Texas to Ignacio Martinez and Primitiva Garcia. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Amador Tamez, son, Guadalupe Rodriguez, daughter, Maria D. Chapa, brother, Abel Martinez and sister, Hilaria Castillo. Mrs. Tamez is survived by her loving son, Blas (Maria Normalinda) Rodriguez, 10 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. with a rosary at 5:30 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Elsa, Texas. Chapel service will be Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Elsa, Texas. Interment will follow to Anahuac Community Cemetery  in Edcouch, Texas.
