Irineo Castillo

LA VILLA – Irineo Castillo, 69, went to be with Lord on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center in Edinburg, Texas. Irineo Castillo was born on July 2, 1951 in La Villa, Texas to Felix Castillo and Paulina Medina. 

Mr. Irineo Castillo is survived by his wife, Maria Cruz Treviño, his children, Leticia Castillo, Irineo Castillo Jr. and Steven Garcia, his seven grandchildren, his mother, Paulina Castillo and his siblings, Martin Castillo, Guadalupe Castillo, Juanita Rodriguez, Luisa Castillo, Rosa Meza, Maria de Jesus Castillo, Ramona Castillo and Maggie Espinoza. 

Family will receive family and friends on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 5:30 pm at Eternal Light Funeral Home 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Anahuac Cemetery in Edcouch, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
