Isabel Hernandez

Elsa – Isabel Hernandez went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at the age of 90. Mrs. Hernandez was born on February 13, 1932 in Edcouch, Texas to Alfonso Tamez and Jesusa Riojas.

Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her loving children- Lilia Angulo (Gilberto), Ermelinda Rodriguez (Gerardo), Ruben Hernandez (Dalia), Josefina Hernandez, Diana Hernandez (Roberto Rincon), Indelio Hernandez Jr. (Maria Isabel) as well as 24 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She also leaves her two brothers, Reynaldo Tamez, Roberto Tamez, and a sister, Angelita Telles. In death, she is reunited with her husband, Indelio Hernandez Sr, her daughter, Alicia Aguilar, three grandsons; Angel Gonzalez, Jesse Espinoza, and Luis (Wero) Monjaraz, and her granddaughter, Dolores Aguilar.

Family will receive family and friends on Monday August 22, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday August 23, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. service at Eternal Light Funeral Home here in Elsa, Texas. On Wednesday August 24, 2022 a chapel service will be hosted at 10:00a.m. here at Eternal Light Funeral Home. Interment will follow to Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas.
