Edinburg, Texas– Javier DeLeon Jr., 28, went to be with the Lord Sunday, February 06, 2022 in Edinburg, Texas. Javier was born on July 31, 1993 in Weslaco, Texas to Javier DeLeon and Basilisa Cortina.

He is survived by his loving parents- Javier and Basilisa as well as his siblings; Maria G. Aceves, Elizabeth Macera, Elias Aceves, Eliazar Aceves, and Jorge Trevino. He is also survived by his son- Julian Javier DeLeon, his daughter- Destiny Nicole Salgado, and his maternal grandfather- Julian Cortina

 The family would like to invite Javier’s friends and family to a viewing in his honor on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. here at Eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas. Also on Thursday, February 10, 2022, we will be hosting a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. here at Eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas in Javier’s honor. On Friday, February 11, 2022, a chapel service will be held here at Eternal Light Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Internment will follow to Anahuac Cemetery, in Edcouch, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas.
