Mrs. Vasquez was a strong, hard-working and independent woman that did all kinds of work throughout her life. She married at a young age and loved her husband very much. She loved being outdoors with her plants, even on hot days, and sitting out on the porch in the evenings, talking with her loved ones. Her younger daughter Maria Leonor was her constant companion and they had a very special bond.
