Jose Enrique Salazar

Weslaco, Tx. – Mr. Jose Enrique Salazar went to be with Lord on Tuesday January 23, 2024 surrounded by family at  Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas.  Mr. Salazar was born on January 25, 1972 to Enrique Salazar and Evangelina Cantu in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Mr. Salazar is survived by his brother Jesus Salazar and an aunt Maria Felipa Cantu.  Mr. Salazar is preceded in death by his parents Enrique and Evangelina Salazar. Mr. Jose Salazar’s family would like to invite all his family and friends to attend his visitation on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas with a Rosary At 7:30 p.m. Visitation on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at San Martin De Porras Catholic Church in Weslaco, Texas. Funeral service will follow at Highland Memeorial Park Cemetery in Weslaco, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
