Weslaco, Texas – Josefina G. Rivera, 97, peacefully passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022. Mrs. Rivera was born on May 10, 1925 in La Pamona de Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
Mrs. Rivera was married for 8o years and is survived by her loving children Dolores R. Ortega, Juana Maria R. Marin, Maria Elena R. Hinojosa, Bertha R. Alvarez, Silvia R. Maciel, Gabriel Rivera and Sergio Rivera. She is proceeded in death by her husband Demencio Rivera and her son Jose Rivera. Mrs. Rivera is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren that loved her dearly. The family would like to invite Mrs. Rivera’s family and friends to join them for a viewing on, Tuesday January 3, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer service at 7:00 p.m.at Eternal Light Funeral Home 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas.
