Juan Mendiola

Weslaco, Tx. – Mr. Juan Mendiola went to be with Lord on Thursday December 21, 2023 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, Texas.  Mr. Mendiola born on February 19, 1934 to Moises Mendiola and Ana Gonzalez-Mendiola in Camargo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Mr. Mendiola is survived by his children: Mario (Cynthia) Mendiola, Moises Mendiola, Dagoberto Mendiola, Rene (Rosie) Mendiola, Eligio (Raquel) Mendiola, Graciela (Oziel Madrigal) Mendiola, Esmeralda (Juan) Salinas, Jaime (+ Marisela) Mendiola, Elias (Sandra) Galvan, 22 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Rosa Gonzalez, Nasario Mendiola, Lauro Mendiola, and Jesus Mendiola. Mr. Juan Mendiola is preceded in death by his wife, Micaela Mendiola, his parents Moises Mendiola and Ana Gonzalez-Mendiola. Mr. Mendiola is also preceded by his son, Juan “Johnny” Mendiola Jr., his grandson, Jaime Mendiola Jr., and his daughter-in-law, Marisela Mendiola (Jaime). The Mendiola family would like to invite all his family and friends to attend his visitation on Monday, December 25, 2023 from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at Casa Del Alfarero Church in Weslaco, Texas. Mr. Mendiola will have a chapel service the following day, Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. followed by his burial at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas. Pallbearers will be: Eli Mendiola Jr., Eric Mendiola, Rene Mendiola Jr., Omar Mendiola, Elias Galvan, and Marcus Mendiola.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
