Juan Jose Morales

Monte Alto, Tx. – Mr. Juan Jose Morales went to be with Lord Thursday February 20, 2025.  Mr. Morales was born on December 6, 1951 in Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico to Adolario Morales and Maria Del Pilar Linares. Juan Jose Morales was a man of many talents and even bigger heart. He leaves a legacy of hard work, laughter and love for the simple joys in life. Mr. Morales found his passion in craftsmanship, working as a skilled upholsterer for many years. His hands could restore worn-out seats to their former glory just as easily as they could grab and hug those he loved.

Music and dancing were also close to his heart. Whether it was a lively tune or a slow melody, he never missed a chance to move to the rhythm. If you were lucky enough to know Mr. Morales, you knew he had a joke ready for every occasion, always aiming to bring a smile to those around him.

Mr. Juan Jose Morales is Survived by his loving wife, Aida Morales, his children, Alma Delia Cerda (Candelario), Olga Lydia Morales (Manuel Silva), Aida Martinez (Dagoberto), Juan Jose Morales Jr. and Jessica Medina (Juan Medina), 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mr. Morales siblings are Salvador Morales, Adolario Morales, and Sergio Morales. Juan Jose Morales is preceded in death by his parents Adolario and Maria Morales and a daughter Rosa Isela Morales.

The Family of Mr. Juan Jose Morales invites friends and family to attend his visitation on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas. Juan Jose Morales visitation will continue on Monday, February 24, 2025 from 9:00 a.m.-12:30 at Eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas. Mr. Morales Funeral Mass will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa with burial to follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes, Texas.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
