Elsa, Tx. – Mrs. Juanita Gonzalez went to be with Lord on Saturday January 25, 2025 at her residence in Elsa, Texas.  Mrs. Gonzalez born on September 16, 1942 to Julian Ruiz and Eloisa Palomo in Stamford, Texas.

Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her loving children: Dalia Gonzales, Ricardo (Esther) Gonzalez, Lydia Gonzalez, Guadalupe (Leticia) Gonzalez Jr., Rigoberto (Norma) Bocanegra, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Josefina Ruiz, Margarita Escalon, Refugia Garcia, Enedina Pate, Alicia Morales, David Ruiz, Daniel Ruiz, and Ricardo Ruiz. Mrs. is preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Gonzalez, daughter, Elsa Gonzalez, parents, Julian and Eloisa Ruiz, brothers, Julian Ruiz, Guadalupe Ruiz, Gilberto Ruiz, and sister, Ninfa Rodriguez. Serving as pallbearers; Javier Martinez, Adrian Trevino, Rigoberto Bocanegra, Roberto Gonzalez, Jesus Bocanegra, and Guadalupe Gonzalez III. The Gonzalez family would like to invite friends and family members to the visitation of Mrs. Gonzalez Monday, January 27, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a service at 7:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home 201 North Broadway Elsa, Texas. Chapel service will be celebrated Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home 201 North Broadway Elsa, Texas. Interment will follow to Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, Texas.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
