Julio Cesar Medina

Elsa– Julio Cesar Medina, 44, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Rio Grande Regional Medical Center in McAllen, Texas.  Mr. Medina was born on September 25, 1977 in Weslaco, Texas to Justo R. Medina Sr. and Viola San Miguel. Mr. Medina is survived by his loving parents, Justo Sr. and Viola as well as his devoted wife, Vanessa Cazares. Mr. Medina is also survived by his daughter Jayda Medina as well as his four sons- Jacob Medina, Justin Medina, Josh Medina, and Joseph Medina. He also has two sisters, Elizabeth Garza (Charles Dewayne Miller) and Marilyn Medina Garza (Adan) and five brothers Justo Medina Jr. (Alicia), Joel Medina (Marisela), Rick Medina (Cindy), Jesse Medina, and Jaime Medina that will also continue to honor his memory.

Mr. Medina’s family is inviting his friends and relatives to join them for a visitation on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. rosary at Eternal Light Funeral Home 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas. A chapel service will also be held at Eternal Light Funeral Home on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow to Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas
