Edinburg– Luisa Sanchez Martinez, 73, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at her residence in Edinburg, Texas. Mrs. Sanchez was born on March 17, 1948 in Cuidad Mante, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Basilio Sanchez and Maria Del Refugio Martinez. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Sanchez is survived by her loving children; Otehniel Zuniga Sanchez, Diana Zuniga, Olga Zuniga, Maria Zuniga, Nayelie Zuniga, 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, siblings; Luis Sanchez, Angel Sanchez, Marcos Sanchez, Guadalupe Sanchez, Basilia Sanchez and Maria De La Cruz Sanchez.

Family will receive family and friends on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
