Edinburg – Marcelina Hernandez, 59, went to be with the Lord Saturday January 15, 2021 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Tx. Mrs. Hernandez was born January 9, 1962 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Fernando Montero and Basilia Aguilar.

Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her loving husband, Ernesto Hernandez, children, Ernesto Hernandez, Cristobal Hernandez, Marcelino Hernandez, Elvia Hernandez, Maria Ulyssa Hernandez, 3 grandchildren, mother, Basilia Montero, siblings, Clemente Montero, Cristina Montero, Angela Montero, Anastacio Montero, Leonardo Montero, Esteban Montero, Victor Montero and Fernando Montero.

Viewing for Mrs. Hernandez will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 12 pm to 7 pm with a prayer service at 5 pm at Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas. Interment will follow to Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, TX. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
