Maria De Jesus Casillas

Elsa– Maria De Jesus Casillas, 85, passed away Monday, March 23, 2020 at Amara Hospice in Edinburg, Texas. Mrs. Casillas was born July 02, 1934 in Crystal City, Texas to Sabino Uribe and Maria Hernandez. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Maria Martinez, sons, Juan Jose Casillas and Ramiro Casillas. Mrs. Casillas is survived by her loving husband Valentin Casillas, Children, Juanita Casillas, Alicia (Ignacio Balderas) Casillas, Valentin Casillas Jr, Javier (Norma) Casillas, Tomas (Lucinda) Casillas, Celia (Rudy) Rodolfo, Angel (Veronica) Casillas, 18 Grandchildren, 15 Great-grandchildren, Sisters, Minerva Barrera, Esperanza Jasso, and Brother, Ricardo Betancourt.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2020. from 4:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Eternal Light Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Elsa, Texas. Mrs. Casillas will be cremated at a later date.
