Maria De La Luz Garza de Elizondo

With hearts full of love and gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Maria De La Luz Garza De Elizondo, who went home to be with the Lord at the age of 70.

Mrs. Maria De La Luz Garza De Elizondo was born on October 10, 1954 to Raul and Hermelinda Garza in General Teran, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

Mrs. Maria is survived by her loving husband: Leoncio Elizondo, children, Janeth Elizondo Garza, and Rafael Elizondo Garza, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she is also survived by siblings, Gerardo Garza Flores, Raul Garza Flores, Baldomero Garza Flores, Rosalba Garza Flores and Gloria Elizabeth Garza Flores. Mrs. Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Raul Garza and Hermelinda Garza and her son Dannes Elizondo Garza.

Visitation for Mrs. Maria De La Luz will be held on July 5, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home 201 North Broadway Elsa, Texas. Mrs. Maria De La Luz will be transported to General Teran, Nuevo Leon,MX where she will have services at a later date. Burial will be at Panteón Nuestra Señora De La in General Terán, Nuevo León, MX. Funeral arraignments have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas.
