Alamo, Tx. – Mrs. Maria R. Gonzalez went to be with our Lord Sunday May 12, 2024.  Mrs. Gonzalez was born on September 1, 1948 in Torreon Coahuila, Mexico to Donaciano Gonzalez and Guadalupe Acosta.  Mrs. Maria R. Gonzalez is survived by her loving children Anna Alonzo (Francisco), Josefina Gonzalez, Pedro Jose Gonzalez, Gloria Gonzalez, 9 Grandchildren, 1 Great-granddaughter and her sister Socorro Gamez . Maria Gonzalez is proceeded in death by her parents Donaciano and Guadalupe Gonzalez and her husband Pedro Gonzalez Rodriguez.

The Family of Mrs. Maria R. Gonzalez invites friends and family to attend her visitation on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas. Chapel Service is at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday May 16, 2024 at Eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas with burial to follow at Anahuac Community Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
