Maria Celestina (Vasquez) Martinez

Edcouch, Tx. – Mrs. Maria Celestina Martinez went to be with Lord Tuesday October 3, 2023.  Mrs. Martinez was born on May 24, 1951 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Severo Ignacio Vasquez and Maria De Jesus Calderon. Celestina Martinez is survived by her Loving Husband Arturo Martinez, her children, Jose Ignacio Martinez (Kizzy Garcia), Arturo Martinez Jr. (Vanessa Garcia). Celestina Martinz siblings are San Juanita Vasquez and Fidel Vasquez. She is proceeded in death by her Parents Severo and Maria de Jesus Vasquez, her sisters Gloria Calderon, Francisca Alvarado and brother Juan Vasquez.

The Martinez Family invites friends and family to attend Mrs. Celestina Martinez’s visitation on Friday, October 6, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas. Funeral Mass is Saturday October 7, 2023at 9:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch, Texas with  interment to follow at Anahuac Cemetery in Edcouch, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
