Maria A. Nino

Elsa – Maria A. Nino, 90, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in her residence in Elsa, Texas.  Mrs. Nino was born on March 17, 1931 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Francisco Capetillo and Josefa Zavala.

Mrs. Nino is survived by her loving Children; Maria de Jesus Sanchez, Isidro Nino, Maria Nino Capetillo, Juana Cleto, Adela Lara, Maria Consuelo Orozco, Teresa Velasquez. Mrs. Nino is also survived by her sister, Maria Dolores Capetillo, as well as her brothers,  Jose Dolores Capetillo and Jose Guadalupe Capetillo, thirty two grandchildren and sixty seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Macario Nino as well as her son, Jose Nino.

Family will receive family and friends on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 pm at Eternal Light Funeral Home, 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas. Funeral Mass will be Friday, September 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church located at 110 FM-88 in Elsa, Texas. Interment will follow to Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch, Texas.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas.
