Weslaco, Tx. – Ms. Maura Sanchez De San Miguel went to be with Lord on Saturday January 20, 2024 surrounded by family in Harlingen, Texas.  Ms. Sanchez De San Miguel was born on January 15, 1958 to Apolonia Galvan and Jose Sanchez in Rio Verde, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

Ms. Sanchez De San Miguel is survived by her children: Elsa Coronado (Jose Luis), Magdalena Conde (Manuel), Zeniada Cruz (Victor), Cecilia Tussing (Anthony), Mirta San Miguel Cruz (Bernardino Cruz), Juan Alejandro San Miguel (Cecilia), and Mauro San Miguel as well as fifteen grandchildren and four siblings. Ms. Sanchez De San Miguel is preceded in death by her parents Apolonia Galvan and Jose Sanchez as well as her son Guillermo San Miguel. The Sanchez De San Miguel family would like to invite all her family and friends to attend her visitation on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas with a prayer service At 6:30 p.m. On Friday, January 26, 2024 there will be a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. and burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes, Texas.
