Nicolasa Lerma

Donna – Nicolasa Lerma, 86, went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Amara Hospice in Edinburg, Texas.  Mrs. Lerma was born May 9, 1934 in Linares, Nuevo Leon, Mx. to Jesus Barreda and Paula Ramirez. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Casildo Lerma, sisters, Bertha Barreda, Guadalupe Barreda, Josefina Barreda and brother, Pablo Barreda. Mrs. Lerma is survived by her loving children, Guadalupe (Rosa) Lerma, Pedro ( Veronica) Lerma, Oliverio (Martha) Lerma, Amalia (Juan Pablo) Ortiz, Genaro ( Leticia) Lerma, Maria (Jose) Garcia, Erica (Juan) Rodriguez, 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and brother, Francisco Barreda.

Viewing for Mrs. Lerma will be Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a service at 5:30 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas. Mrs. Lerma will be cremated at a later date.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
