Ofelia (Garcia) Garza

Weslaco– Ofelia Garza went to be with the lord peacefully on Friday, June 12, 2022. Mrs. Garza was born on June 10, 1944 in Elsa, Texas to her father, Wenceslao Garcia and her mother, Cruz Bazaldua.

            Mrs. Garza will be remembered here on Earth by her loving daughters, Maricruz Magana (Jose Jr.) and Juanita “Candy” Ybarra (Frank). She is also survived by her husband Ruben B. Garza and her sister, Mary-Anna Anguiano. She also leaves her four grandchildren; Clarissa Magana, Esmelinda Magana, Joel Magana, and Frank Ybarra Jr., and her six Great-Grandchildren. She is reunited in heaven with her parents, her beloved son Ruben Garza Jr., as well as her brothers Wenceslao Garcia Jr., and Silvestre Garcia.

Mrs. Garza’s family would like to invite all who knew and loved her to join them at her viewing which will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. here at Eternal Light Funeral Home in Elsa, Texas. Burial will be held in Spur, Texas at Spur Memorial Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas.
