Rafael Ordonez

Harlingen–Rafael Ordonez went to be with the Lord on Tuesday September 6, 2022 at the age of 59. Mr. Ordonez was born on June 16, 1963 in Cerritos, San Luis Potosi to Melquiades Ordonez and Ignacia Escalante.

Mr. Ordonez is survived by his loving children- Deniz Gomez (Juan Gomez), Jairo Ordonez (Mirna Ordonez), Lizbeth Ordonez, Genisis Palomarez (Andy Palomarez). He is also survived by his grandchildren- Brian Gomez, Brandon Gomez, Jairo Ordonez Jr., Keyla Gomez, and Mariel Ordonez; as well as his great-grandchild, Brian Mateo Gomez, his mother, Ignacia Escalante, and his siblings- Roque Ordonez, Elvia Florez, Esmeralda Cristobal, Ramiro Ordonez, Maria Lopez, Rosario Ordonez, and Martha Rodriguez.

The family would like to invite Mr. Ordonez’s friends and family to a wake in his honor on Friday, September 09, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a 1:00 p.m. prayer service at Eternal Light Funeral Home here in Elsa, Texas. Burial will follow to La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen, Tx. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas.
