Ramona (Olivera) Galvan

Edinburg, Tx. – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Ramona Galvan, on December 19, 2024 at the age of 94. Mrs. Galvan was born on August 27,1930 in Michoacán, Mexico to Jesus Olivera and Jesus Vicente. Mrs. Galvan was a homemaker who loved cooking and taking care of her family.

Mrs. Ramona Galvan is survived by her loving children: Jose Galvan (Hilda), Enrique Galvan (+Eloisa), Heriberto Galvan, Miguel Galvan, Jaime Galvan (Virginia), Rosa Aguirre (Noe) and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her loving husband Eduardo Galvan, her parents: Jesus and Jesus Olivera, Children: Andres Galvan, Javier Galvan, Elena Maldonado, And Luisa Maldonado. 

The memories that Mrs. Ramona Galvan created and the love she shared will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her and be part of her life’s journey. Mrs. Galvan will be missed but never forgotten. 

The Family of Mrs. Ramona Galvan invites friends and family to celebrate her life with visitation on Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home located in Elsa, Texas. Funeral Mass for Mrs. Galvan will be Monday, December 23, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Joseph of the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos, Texas with burial to follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
