Refugia R. Davila

Hargill – Refugia R. Davila, 90, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center in Edinburg, Texas. Mrs. Davila was born November 2, 1929 in Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mx. to Ramon and Juana Ramirez. Mrs. Davila is preceded in death by her husband, Nicolas Davila, daughter, Angelita Alvara and son, Nicolas Davila Jr..

Mrs. Davila is survived by her loving children, Josefina Ortiz, Yolanda Jimenez, Zoila Ramirez, Juan Davila, 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and her sister, Maria Rattler.

Memorial service for Mrs. Davila will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 12 pm to 5 pm with a rosary at 4 pm at Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas.  Funeral mass will be Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 10 am at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church in Hargill, Texas. Interment of remains will follow to Valle De La Paz Cemetery in Hargill, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
