Roel Hasbun

Edinburg – Roel Hasbun, 91, went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 12, 2021 at his residence in Edinburg, Texas.  Mr. Hasbun was born on January 22, 1930 in Mcallen, Texas to Jacobo Hasbun and Albina Flores. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Juanita Barrientos, daughter, Dora Hilda Castro, and son, Raul Castro.

Mr. Hasbun is survived by his loving children, Alfonso Castro, Clementina Castro, Guadalupe Castro, Luis Castro, Melquiades Castro, Mario Castro, Esmeralda Castro, Santa Maria Castro, Maria Castro, Felix Castro, 54 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Family will receive family and friends on Monday, August 16, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 pm at Eternal Light Funeral Home 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas.  Chapel service will be on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas. Interment will follow at Anahuac Community Cemetery in Edcouch, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas.
