Roel Salinas

Mercedes– Roel Salinas, 57, went to be with the Lord Monday, June 14, 2021 at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, Texas.  Mr. Salinas was born on November 21, 1961 in San José de la Laja, Mexico to Gustavo Salinas Sr. and Mirtala Garza. He is preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Salinas is survived by his loving wife Irma Salinas, children; Rudy Suarez, Zachary (Mary) Suarez, Zebedee (Adela) Suarez, Belinda Suarez,  grandchildren; Raelene Cisneros, Gabrielle A. Cisneros, Desiree R. Cisneros, Ezra Suarez, Zaeden Suarez, Alfonso Fonseca, Kaylee Tamez, great grandchildren; Izabella R. Aguilar and Easton L. Cardoza, mother; Mirthala Salinas, siblings; Juan Salinas, Gloria Marin, Mirtha Guerra, Mario Salinas, Gustavo Salinas, Roselia Ayala, Julia Lopez, Eusebia Salinas and San Juanita Salinas.

Family will receive family and friends on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home 201 North Broadway in Elsa, Texas.  Funeral Mass will be on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch, Texas. Interment will follow to Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Eternal Light Funeral Home of Elsa, Texas.
